So I am an ally to the LGBTQ+ community and my parent are most definitely homophobic. Yet my mom denies it because she hates that word. She says that they are being mind controlled and she doesn’t like them. And when I tell her that she is homophobe, she denies it. Wtf do I do? I’m always afraid to say some LGBTQ related topic because she will always say something that offends me. So I think I’ll just avoid the topic while she is around.
