Islam gave women so much more rights than any religion probably ever has, in the middle ages when other religions struggled to even let women out of their house, Islam gave women the right to do business. it depends. islam in itself is a feminism religion. the extremists (like the taliban) push the rules of islam out of context and into the epitamy of sexism. however, i suggest reading about the quran and actually educating yourself about the religion before calling people out for respecting it.
