heart of the sea.
i felt the calm before it all spilled out. i embraced it all. her confessions spilled like a hurricane on that September afternoon. her loud, sharp, piercing cry fills the world around her demanding for her own voice, her own pain to be heard. the pounding of her fists against the shore line that would scare the sand up the bank. her agonizing rip current that swirls in her stomach leaving an unsatisfiable hunger. her heaving breath that whips her salty tears into my already damp eyes, leaving a film over my lashes. my heart shook at her pain it was something I’ve never felt before; her sobs seemed to be never ending. her emotions were there, painted for me in an array of shades of blues and grey. my heart aches and longes for the sea, full of feeling.
