Please please please get the hell off the damn phone! If you're working from home and you're lonely - sorry! If you're retired, so happy for you- I'm not and can't afford to. please join a club so you can chat. But to keep our jobs we need to take a high number of calls. So, GET OFF THE PHONE!! Do what you have to do and GO! Our work time is not chat time. I understand now why so many keep a straight face and avoid a friendly tone. It's to keep the conversation about business and keep it short.
