i had a crush on a girl. my best friend told me the girl had a crush on someone too. me and my crush had been acting differently around each other; more touches, more random conversations, playing with each other’s hair, laying on each other. i thought she liked me too. i had a plan to ask her out. at lunch one day, she started talking about her crush. and then she accidentally said her crush’s name. hearing someone else’s name made me hurt on the inside, but i kept a supportive face. she’s happy, now in a relationship with her crush. and i’m glad she’s happy. even if it isn’t with me.
