I'm in love with my best friend. I have been having on and off crushes on them for the past 4 years, they've also requited feelings for me but it was never at the right time for both of us. One of my other friends, has now disclosed to me that they like my best friend. They even asked beforehand if I still liked said best friend, and I said no. I don't know why I said no. They went on about how much they like my best friend and I really don't know what to do. On one hand, my friend has had a real run of the mill and deserves someone as good as my best friend, but on the other I also deserve a chance, and I'm sick of putting others before myself. In the end, it comes down to my best friend; who currently is blissfully ignorant about both of us liking them. I really don't know what to do, this friend of mine is the jealous type, and me and my best friend are overall generally the affectionate type towards each other.
