advice girls only

i haven't gotten my period yet but i've been having discharge. and i researched a lot about it, apparently it happens for a year or less before your period. But idk when i actually started getting discharge, i just know it's been way more than a year, almost two years i think. is this normal?? i'm 12 years old.
