I went into Asda today and was blocked from buying alcohol because my children were helping me put stuff on the till and pack my bags, since I have a bad back. The lady infant of me was also with her kids (same ages) and was purchasing alcohol but had no questions asked. I happen to be asian and the family in front was caucasian, and I have been shopping at this Asda before with no problems. I was just wondering whether this has been a similar experience for anyone else, that certain rules are being enforced differently for different ethnicity groups. Definitely makes the shopping process harder and less welcoming than usual.
