I wonder if there's anyone out there like me. The friendless one, always living in hope that someday, one day they'll have someone in their life who truly wants to be around them. Someone who has their back just as much. Someone who refuses to try to get them to change who they are. Someone who just is with them. Can anyone be that way? Or are we all far too caught up in our heads to just simply be with a person? Are we all too worried that we'll get hurt? We don't want to let go. We just want to hold on to lies that keep us from sharing ourselves fully with others and basking in the truth of others.
